Taproot Teacher Training (Art of Homeschooling)

Produced by Art of Homeschooling and marking two decades of operation, Taproot Teacher Training is a secular, intensive Waldorf-inspired retreat for homeschooling parents. Held each August at Camp Asbury in Hiram, Ohio, the four-day residential program covers painting, drawing, storytelling, music, movement, handwork, nature connection, and grade-specific main lessons for kindergarten through high school, alongside inner-work practices for the educator. Lodging, meals, and workshops are all included; a commuter option is also available. Jean Miller and a team of experienced Waldorf educators lead the retreat.
