Accredited School Protection
- All the freedom of homeschooling, with a real school behind you
- Recognized transcripts, diplomas, and records when they're needed
Numa is your family’s school of record — transcripts, curriculum planning, compliance, and community — without locking you into one method, curriculum, or pace. Kindergarten through college.
If you're overwhelmed by homeschooling—drowning in requirements, second-guessing decisions, and wondering if you're even doing this right—you're not alone.
State laws vary wildly. Requirements change. And it's easy to worry you're missing something.
You're a teacher, parent, and homemaker or working professional—all at once. Something always falls through the cracks.
Hundreds of curriculum options. Dozens of teaching methods. Conflicting reviews everywhere you look. And the constant worry that you picked wrong—or that you're missing something better.
Transcripts, college applications, gaps in education—the stakes feel impossibly high.
The lessons don't get finished. Other families seem to have it together. Maybe your kids would be better off in school?
We're here to help your family's homeschool flourish.
Numa empowers you to teach with confidence, stay compliant,
and give your children the education they deserve.
Numa is your family's accredited school of record. We keep official grades and records, and issue the transcripts colleges and employers recognize.

We handle the filings and paperwork so you can focus on the kids, not whether everything's in order.
We build curriculum plans for you so your kids get the education you want, and every required subject is covered without guesswork.

Whether it is managing co-ops or tutorials, accessing ESA dollars, or anything in between, we deliver quick, up-to-date answers tailored to each student.
Numa keeps you two steps ahead, preparing your household for dual-enrollment, high school milestones, and the college track before each decision point hits.

$199 a year covers your whole family. Every student, every record, every filing, every transcript, all held by your accredited school of record.
One price for your whole family. No per-child fees.

Book a free 20-minute consultationFor every family, Numa is the place to find curriculum, plan your year, connect with community, track progress, and access the tools and resources that make homeschooling work. Browse, plan, and join in for free.
For families who register with us, Numa becomes something more: your accredited school of record. We protect and oversee your homeschool, handling state filings, keeping official records, issuing accredited transcripts and diplomas, and standing behind your student's education when colleges, ESA programs, or districts ask. One annual registration covers your whole family.
We do it all for your family, so you can be free to thrive.
Yes. For families who register with us, in the states where Numa serves as your school of record, we operate licensed and recognized schools under the state's department of education. Our transcripts, diplomas, and records are issued by recognized schools and accepted by colleges, employers, the military, and various state programs. For international families, Numa provides full compliance guidance and recordkeeping to keep your family in good standing with your respective local requirements.
There's no one-size-fits-all day, and that's the point. Some families follow a structured routine with Numa's planner; others unschool and log learning as it happens. You teach the way that works for your family, and Numa helps you and keeps you on track in the background. Numa can give you full curriculum plans that are highly detailed each day, or can be an accredited support and oversight backing up the plans that you create for your students. We can suggest and cast vision, practical guides, and curriculum for everything you need, but ultimately exist to back you as the parents in your dreams for your students.
Yes. Registration is annual and you can choose not to renew at the end of the school year. Your records and transcripts stay yours either way. We'll export them in standard formats so you have everything on file. However, we strongly suggest you stay enrolled with some protection for your homeschool each year.
Yes. Many families homeschool precisely because they need the flexibility traditional schools can't provide. Numa is curriculum-agnostic, so we'll show you and help you choose what works for your child. We help you track it, document progress on your child's timeline, and meet your state's requirements regardless of how they learn.
Families who register with Numa also get an accredited school of record that recognizes non-linear progress, so transcripts, evaluations, and ESA documentation reflect your child accurately.
Yes. All colleges accept homeschool transcripts. What matters is that they're complete, professionally formatted, and come from a credible source.
Numa builds transcripts with proper GPA calculations, course descriptions, and credit hours that meet college admission requirements. For competitive schools, we also help you document external validation like dual-enrollment courses, AP scores, and standardized tests that show your student's academic readiness.
Families who register with Numa receive official transcripts issued directly by their accredited school of record, not parent-generated documents. That distinction can matter for competitive admissions, scholarship applications, military enlistment, and any institution that expects a school-issued record.
In many states, yes. You're required to file with the state to declare your homeschool, and depending on where you live, you may also need to track attendance, log instructional hours, submit annual assessments, and keep organized portfolios every year. Even in states with minimal or no requirements, it's highly recommended to have an accredited school of record behind you. Filings, transcripts, and planning for your kids' future matter, so Numa brings accredited structure and infrastructure to support homeschooling families easily.
If you want, we can give you all you need! Think of Numa as your highly organized, deeply knowledgeable friend who also happens to be an accredited school standing behind your homeschool. We can help you find, source, and plan everything from kindergarten through college, or we can quietly support the year you've already built.
That said, Numa never locks you into a single curriculum, method, or program. Your year is yours to build! You can use what you already love, swap in what works for your family, and build your year the way you want. Just want to find community? We love that too. Want us to handle every detail? We've got you. That's the design: every family, infinite shapes. Numa is here to help you be successful the way you want!
Yes. One household, every child, one school. Each child gets their own compliance requirements, curriculum plan, attendance records, and progress tracking. Numa shows you kindergartener to high schooler, all in one place.
For families who register with one of our accredited schools of record, you'll always know where each child stands, what's been completed, and what's coming next. One registration covers your whole family.
You can! Homeschooling is more fun together. Through Numa, you can find co-ops, classes, and meetups near you, connect with other registered families, and tap into a community of moms (and dads) walking the same path. Whether you want a weekly co-op, a curriculum swap, or just someone who gets it, Numa makes the homeschool world feel a little smaller and a lot warmer.
