Great Homeschool Conventions
The Great Homeschool Conventions Ohio stop takes place April 1-3, 2027 at First Financial Center (formerly Duke Energy Convention Center) in Cincinnati. The convention draws attendees from across Ohio and neighboring states for three days of curriculum shopping, workshop sessions, and keynote presentations. Tracks cover Homeschool 101, Classical, Neurodivergent Learning, the Real Faith for the Real World Teen Track, and Parent-to-Parent, with speakers including Davy Liu, Nick Freitas, Joel Salatin, and Andrew Pudewa. The Giant Cow Kids Event runs alongside the main schedule for younger children, and Comedy Night with Bob Smiley is part of the evening programming. Military and pastor family discounts are available. Registration prices increase as the event date approaches.
Great Homeschool Conventions hosts a five-city circuit from late winter through summer, widely recognized for fielding the largest exhibit hall in US homeschooling — hundreds of curriculum vendors offering convention-exclusive deals. Beyond the exhibit floor, each event runs eight specialized tracks covering Homeschool 101, classical, Charlotte Mason, neurodivergent learning, teens, and college prep, plus keynote speakers and optional children's programming. The multi-regional format means most families can find a stop within a day's drive.
