Wisconsin Homeschooling Expo
The Wisconsin Homeschooling Expo runs Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 10am to 4pm at the Waukesha Expo Center Forum. Hosted by Elyse Scheeler, a speech-language pathologist and homeschool mom, the one-day event draws families at every stage, from those just exploring homeschooling to veterans looking for fresh approaches. Expert sessions cover homeschool methods, learning differences, child development, and advocacy. The vendor marketplace features curriculum, therapy tools, books, and local services, and on-site food vendors keep the day self-contained. Kids' activities run for multiple age groups, and children 17 and under attend free. Early-bird adult tickets are $10 before July 1; a family pass covering two parents, all household children, and up to four grandparents is $40.
Founded by Elyse Scheeler — a speech-language pathologist, wellness coach, and host of the Speaking Life Into Motherhood podcast — the Wisconsin Homeschooling Expo brings a faith-oriented, practically grounded energy to the state's homeschool community. Held each August at the Waukesha Expo Center, the one-day expo features a vendor marketplace stocked with curriculum, therapy tools, books, and local services; expert sessions on homeschool methods, learning differences, and child development; and kids' activities that make it a true family day out.
