Society for Classical Learning
The Society for Classical Learning's 2026 Summer Conference, "Overflowing Generosity," takes place June 16-18 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. The theme draws on Jonathan Edwards' image of God's love as an overflowing fountain, exploring how generosity shapes teaching, school culture, and community. Plenary speakers include Peter Greer, Leslie Moeller, Dr. Lydia Dugdale, and Jonathan Pageau; breakout speakers include Louis Markos, Christopher Perrin, Keith McCurdy, and Charles Kesler, among others. A separate pre-conference day on June 16 offers in-depth workshops on topics such as school development, board governance, and lower and upper school pedagogy. In-person and virtual attendance options are available, with member and non-member pricing. The conference serves school leaders, teachers, and administrators, and is open to homeschool educators given classical education's significant home and co-op student population.
The Society for Classical Learning exists to help classical Christian education thrive — supporting school leaders through mentorship, accreditation, and peer community. Its annual Summer Conference, held each June at a rotating host city, draws teachers, administrators, board members, and homeschool educators for keynote addresses, breakout sessions, and collegial fellowship. Nearly 40 percent of classical education students learn at home, in co-ops, or in microschools, making the SCL conference a meaningful gathering for serious homeschool families alongside traditional school faculty.
