Northern California Homeschool Convention (NCHC)
The Northern California Homeschool Convention (NCHC) returns June 12-13, 2026 at Destiny Community Center in Rocklin. Friday evening runs from 3-6pm as a free family preview night, followed by a full Saturday program from 9am to 5pm featuring keynote speakers and expert-led breakout workshops on teaching strategies, learning differences, and practical homeschool approaches. A curriculum vendor exhibit hall operates across both days. NHCH welcomes families at every experience level, from first-year homeschoolers to those nine-plus years in, and spans charter school and private homeschool approaches. Ticket options include a couples pass, individual two-day ticket, and a Saturday vendor-hall-only pass. High school students attend free.
Distinct from California's faith-specific and traveling-circuit conventions, NCHC exists to inspire, equip, and empower families to find freedom in homeschooling — welcoming all approaches and backgrounds. Held each June at Destiny Community Center in Rocklin, the two-day event features a curriculum vendor hall with a Friday-evening preview night, keynote general sessions, and breakout workshops covering topics from learning differences to practical teaching strategies. High school students attend free, and the inclusive, community-centered format makes NCHC a natural fit for NorCal families looking for a convention close to home.
