Risen Homeschooling
The Risen Homeschooling Conference 2026 is a women-centered event at Castleton Community Church in Indianapolis, running Friday and Saturday, July 31 to August 1, around the theme "Faithfulness in an Age of Distraction." The organizers aim to "equip, encourage, and challenge Christian homeschooling mothers" as they disciple their children, with sessions exploring how the gospel sustains faithfulness in daily tasks, child discipleship, and God's design for women. The main event runs Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm with keynote addresses, concurrent sessions, corporate worship, and a hands-on Evergreen Planner workshop during lunch. A Friday-evening VIP watercolor workshop with Whitney Newby opens the weekend. Keynotes come from Newby, Jessica Diaz, and sisters Shelby Shepherd and McCauley Nelson. Women of all faith backgrounds are welcome, and nursing infants too.
Held at a community church on the north side of Indianapolis, Risen Homeschooling offers a biblical-worldview conference for families across central Indiana. The main event fills a Saturday with speakers and workshops, while an optional Friday evening adds extra sessions for those who want to dig deeper. Grounded in Christian faith, the gathering pairs practical homeschool teaching with encouragement and fellowship, giving parents a local, accessible weekend to recharge their vision and gather ideas for the year ahead.
