CiRCE Institute's 2026 National Conference, "A Contemplation of Revolution," runs July 15-18 at the historic Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, SC. The main conference (July 16-18) features four plenary sessions, two daily breakout tracks with colloquy discussions, and an evening apprenticeship graduation. Paideia Prize honoree Dr. Larry P. Arnn of Hillsdale College is among the recognized figures; confirmed speakers include Andrew Kern, Dr. James Matthew Wilson, Dr. D.C. Schindler, Joshua Gibbs, Dr. Angel Adams Parham, Nicholas Kotar, and Christopher Perrin, among others. A pre-conference day on July 15 offers focused workshops from Dr. Matthew Bianco, Nicholas Kotar, Mandi Gerth, and Joshua Gibbs. The conference has sold out; a waitlist and virtual ticket option are available. Group pricing (FESTA Ticket) is offered for parties of ten or more.
CiRCE Institute — Center for Independent Research on Classical Education — was established to explore what is essential across classical education traditions. Andrew Kern launched annual conferences in 2002, and the National Conference has since become one of the most intellectually serious gatherings in the movement, rotating among cities and drawing educators committed to the Great Books, the trivium, and cultivating wisdom and virtue. Regional events, the Lost Tools of Writing curriculum, an online academy, and school-consulting services extend the institute's reach to homeschool families and classical school faculty alike.
