The 43rd Annual AFHE Home Education Convention takes place July 17-18 at the Phoenix Convention Center. Arizona's flagship homeschool gathering centers on encouragement and practical renewal, with a full speaker and workshop program running across both days, an exhibit hall featuring curriculum vendors and a Young Entrepreneurs section, and session recordings available to registered attendees afterward. Dedicated programming runs for both teens and younger children, and dissection labs are available for ages 14 and up. A free You Can Homeschool! mini-conference on July 16 welcomes families exploring the option for the first time. Adult registration ranges from $95 for AFHE members to $110 standard, with premier packages available. Teens and graduates can also volunteer for a free admission credit.
Arizona Families for Home Education has served the state's homeschool community since 1983 as a Christian nonprofit focused on education, advocacy, and community. The annual AFHE Convention, held each July at the Phoenix Convention Center, is Arizona's flagship homeschool gathering — a two-day event built around a large exhibit hall, a speaker and workshop program centered on encouragement and renewal, and ample time for family networking. Beyond the convention, AFHE provides legislative monitoring, a support-group directory, and resources for navigating Arizona's homeschool requirements.
