The Chattanooga Homeschool Expo is CSTHEA's annual three-day gathering at the Chattanooga Convention Center, drawing families from southeast Tennessee, north Georgia, and northern Alabama. The 2026 edition runs June 25-27 and opens with a dedicated New Homeschooler and Special Needs Day on Thursday, featuring speakers and workshops tailored specifically for families just starting out or navigating learning differences. Friday and Saturday open the full exhibit hall, where curriculum publishers and resource providers share their offerings alongside speaker sessions and workshops. Evening events each day extend the social side of the weekend: a Mom's Night Out on Friday and a Family Game Night on Saturday round out the programming. The expo is organized under a Statement of Faith and reflects CSTHEA's mission to encourage, equip, and empower homeschooling families.
The Chattanooga Southeast Tennessee Home Education Association (CSTHEA) is a chapter of the Tennessee Home Education Association operating under a Statement of Faith, serving homeschoolers in Chattanooga, the surrounding southeast Tennessee counties, and adjacent north Georgia communities. Its annual Chattanooga Homeschool Expo — held each June at the Chattanooga Convention Center — is the region's largest homeschool gathering, with a dedicated opening day for new homeschool families and special-needs programming. CSTHEA also sponsors local events, activities, and sports programs throughout the year.
