Middle Tennessee Home Education Association

Founded in 1984, the Middle Tennessee Home Education Association (MTHEA) is a chapter of the Tennessee Home Education Association and one of the state's longest-standing homeschool ministries. Serving the Murfreesboro area, MTHEA helps families navigate Tennessee's legal requirements, connects members with co-ops and local groups, and provides liability insurance for tutorials and clubs. Rather than anchoring around a single convention, MTHEA serves its community through a calendar of events — a Spelling Bee, Educational Expo, and graduation ceremony — alongside ongoing encouragement for families at every stage.
